Clare Concannon - The Founder

The uniqueness of Positive Experience Training is the founder's unusual combination of experience and skills, gained from over 20 years of working in the Hospitality Industry. Clare then followed a passion for training in the corporate world as a training manager, moving on to higher education, where she worked for 6 years as a part-time lecturer / key contact for enterprise based at Thames Valley University - Ealing; using any available time to start her own business.

More recently whilst working as a freelance trainer and associate with other partners, Clare also balances being a qualified SFEDI assessor  (Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative) assessing business advisors and supporting her own clients / mentee's.

Inbetween work Clare finds the energy to train and run half marathons in a very respectable time. We can now see why negative thoughts take second place and the only comfortable approach to life and work is a positive one!

"Clare is a phenomenal business woman, with extra amazing networking resources. Her endless energy is something I cherish and value, as do many other aspiring entrepreneurs. Her well honed mentoring skills are a secret weapon that many entrepreneurs could use". Shilpa Pachmatia - Entrepreneur

Working knowledge and Positive Experience Training

"Working knowledge started working with Clare from Positive Experience about 5 years ago, when we first came across each other through her work at Thames Valley University. It was clear from the onset that Clare was only interested in pushing us forward and helping us make a success of what was at the time a fairly small but growing business"

"Since that time she has helped us develop in a number of areas including our own train the trainer programme – where she is frequently asked to help us with awkward or complicated clients –right through to advising us on how to enter the National Training Awards, which we successfully achieved and won in 2008!"

"Clare is extremely well connected and is constantly on the look out for both exciting and new connections that she thinks may be of benefit to our business – it’s like having a bespoke business talent scout who understands what we might need and can identify and exploit potential on our behalf"

"We feel that Clare is always looking out for our interests and while creating and growing business is never easy, having somebody who is effectively outside the business but constantly looking in, is an invaluable asset and something I would Highly recommend". Andrew Hatcher – Managing Director The Working Knowledge Group www.TWKG.net
